Julie Chen is a nationally known book artist and teacher. She received an M.A. in Book Arts from Mills College, and has been publishing limited edition artists’ books under her Flying Fish Press imprint for the past 15 years.
Her books are often decidedly three-dimensional in nature and can be displayed as sculptural objects as well as held in the hand and read.
She teaches in the book arts program at Mills College during the school year as well as teaching intensive workshops at various institutions around the country.
