
A native New Yorker, Irene Clark is known internationally through the work she has loaned to seven United States Embassies including Egypt, Panama, Qatar, The Marshall Islands, and Ethiopia. Currently Ms Clark is exhibiting work in Yemen and Bourkino Fasi.
In 2002 Ms. Clark was represented in the Musée du Pays et Val de Charmey, Switzerland, as well as by a commission for Party Animals, Washington DC. Ms Clark’s frescoes were viewed at the 1995 United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing. Irene Clark is also represented in the Jane Vorhees Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University and in corporate and private collections in America and Europe.
Ms. Clark is an international lecturer and has taught fresco and printmaking at Dieu Donne Papermill, Creative Art Center The Craft Students League, and Carnegie Hall, NY, Garage Annex School, MA, Washington Art Association, and Brookfield Craft Center, CT.
