Amaryllis Siniossoglou was born in Athens Greece.

She studied drawing and painting in Athens, Greece; sculpture at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris; received an MFA in Sculpture and Printmaking at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; and completed the Post Experience Program at the Royal College of Art in London, England.

Amaryllis is an Associate Professor at the department of Visual and Performing Arts at Worcester State College and is responsible for the art courses of the IDOC program at the School of Education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she taught for several years in the Art Department. In 2001 she was the Program Director of the University's Department of Art Study Abroad Program in Greece.

In 1999 she was awarded the Distinguished Teaching Award of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Her artwork involves painting, printmaking, sculpture, artist's books, and digital media. She shows actively, nationally and internationally. Her work is included in museum and private collections.
